Fortuna to hold cannabis ordinance workshop

FORTUNA – Cannabis is of concern in Fortuna and council will soon hold a workshop considering changes to the city’s current marijuana prohibition.

On Monday the Friendly City invites the public to review a draft of city ordinance changes, along with of county marijuana ordinance amendments.  

Staff has kept busy attending county-wide cannabis workshops, and voicing concerns, but says no county action has been taken based on complaints of outdoor cannabis activity on Pampas Lane.

The meeting will be held Monday afternoon at 3PM in Fortuna City Hall.
