Former correctional officer suspected of sex crimes returns to Humboldt

EUREKA – A man wanted for sex crimes against children returns to Humboldt.

The former Humboldt County Correctional Officer believed to be involved in sexual abuse of children has been extradited back to the county.

30-year-old Cory Jordan Fisher Sr. is suspected of crimes including oral copulation, sodomy, lewd acts and sex with 3 boys ranging in ages 15 and younger.

He was working with the county as a correctional officer for over a decade, but moved away to the San Bernardino area.

He was arrested there following a search warrant from the U.S. Marshal Service, and was taken to the San Bernardino Jail.

He’s now been brought back to Humboldt County to adhere to the possible crimes, and his arraignment is scheduled for Friday.
