Human remains found near CR Eureka Campus

EUREKA- A PG&E crew found human remains while working on Tompkins Hill Road near the College of the Redwood Eureka campus.

At around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon, the work crew called the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office to respond to the scene. They were working in a heavily wooded area near the north side of the campus.

The identity or gender of the remains is not known.

Anyone with information is asked to call law enforcement.
