HCSO fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

EUREKA – For Breast Cancer Awareness Month a variety of community members, including local law enforcement, are fundraising in support.

Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office staff can be seen wearing pink hats this month and will also be selling pink hats for $25 in support of the Humboldt Breast and GYN Health Project, a local non-profit organization which offers cancer resource services free of charge.

They’re goal is to raise at least 1,500 dollars.

You can purchase the hats at Cloney’s pharmacies in McKinleyville and Arcata, or at Green’s Pharmacy in Fortuna.
