Voting guides in the mail for Humboldt County’s election

EUREKA – Though next month’s election is smaller than last November’s, 27,000 Humboldt County voters will get to weigh in on at least one issue and the election’s office is getting ready.
A total of eight contests will be decided across seven precincts.
Voter information guides have already gone out. If you’re registered to vote by mail or live in an all-mail ballot precinct you can expect to receive ballots in your mailbox beginning Wednesday, October 11.
Non-mail voters can cast their ballots in person on Tuesday, November 7th, but be sure to check your polling place as it may be different than what is typical in a countywide election.
Humboldt is also fully implementing same day voter registration.
