Winning lotto ticket purchased in Crescent City

CRESCENT CITY- A wager at a Del Norte County store has paid off for one lotto player.

Someone purchased a Daily Derby ticket Sunday night in Crescent City worth $516,000. The ticket was sold at Y Liquor.

The California Lottery said the winner needs to sign the back of their ticket and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Derby winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
