GARBERVILLE- A convicted felon is arrested at a Southern Humboldt motel on drug and gun charges.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office said 52 year-old Thomas Moniz was in possession of drug paraphernalia and a firearm in a motel room located on the 800 block of Redwood Drive in Garberville.
Deputies on Friday located 5 grams of meth, mushrooms, a digital scale, packaging materials and a loaded 12 gauge shotgun and ammo.
Moniz was booked into the Humboldt County Jail on drug charges, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm.
