Sequoia Park Zoo to live stream from behind-the-scenes for ‘Giving Zoo Day’ fundraiser

EUREKA, CA. – There’s Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday, and for the North Coast – Giving Zoo Day.

Giving Tuesday is a day devoted to inspiring the act of giving back to our communities.

On Tuesday, the Sequoia Park Zoo is taking a spin on the day for Giving Zoo Day, and is inviting community members to support the zoo as they fundraise by showing and broadcasting behind-the-scenes looks of zoo activities.

At 9AM ZooKeepers will introduce you to Snoodle the opossum.

At noon, you can learn about the animals diets, and how the ZooKeepers feed them.

At 3PM there will be a special otter feeding.

Finally, at 5PM, there will be a closer look at the zoo’s turtles and snakes.

If you can’t make it, you can catch the zoo’s broadcasts live on their Facebook page, at www.facebook.com/SequioaParkZoo
