Young Man in Eureka Speaks out about Hit-and-Run Experience

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- Jack Hutchinson is nearing his 21st birthday. He has autism, and on Friday he says he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. Luckily, the young man did not suffer any serious injuries. Still, he and his mother want to use the incident as an opportunity to remind drivers to remain cautious.

Hutchinson did not immediately tell his mother, Wila or the police about the incident and no charges will be filed against the driver of the van he says hit him in front of N and S Liquor in Eureka.
