New state law to prohibit home deliveries of gun ammunition purchased online

CALIFORNIA  – A new law will change the way Californians are allowed to buy gun ammunition.

Assembly Bill 693 will ban ammo purchased online from being delivered to your doorstep.

Instead, it will have to be shipped to a licensed vendor approved by the state’s Department of Justice.

There are some buyers who are exempt from the rule, including local police, as well as county, state and federal officers.

The new law will take effect on Monday.
