Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- Effective February first, the following list of mail items will be returned to sender, not delivered, to inmates at the Humboldt County Jail:
-Greeting Cards
– Letters sent on Construction Paper
-Letters sent on colored paper
-Photos that are larger than a 5″ by 7″
Mail on plain white or white lined paper will still be delivered. The policy change is meant to reduce or eliminate the smuggling of contraband into the penal facility.
