Women’s March on Eureka to travel through Old Town this Saturday

EUREKA, CA. – The Women’s March in Eureka is scheduled for Saturday, and you should expect some street closures.

This is the tentative route pending final approval by the city – starting and ending at the C street Plaza in Old Town.

Marchers plan to travel from there along H Street and 3rd before reaching the Carson Mansion on M Street and circling back on 2^nd.

The rally starts at 1PM, and the walk at 2:15PM.

Eureka police will provide support to minimize the duration of road closures, which could be several hours.

The Women’s March objective is to promote justice and equality by bringing people of all backgrounds together.
