Crescent City CHP identifies suspect in officer involved shooting as Scott Senior

CRESCENT CITY – Crescent City CHP has identified the suspect in Monday’s officer involved shooting as 38-year-old Scott Senior.
Senior, a Crescent City resident, died from injuries sustained in the Monday morning incident.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on the 300 block of Madison Avenue just after 9:00a.m.
Investigators say Senior became hostile and stabbed the deputies who fired multiple shots at the suspect.
Both deputies were released from the hospital and are at home with their families according to Public Information Officer Brandy Gonzalez. Their names have not been released.
