Wanted felon out of Orange County arrested in Southern Humboldt

GARBERVILLE- A fight leads to the arrest of a wanted felon out of Orange County.

Humboldt County deputies responded to a call of a man shot in Garberville early Thursday morning. Once there, they determined he hadn’t been shot, but he and another man were injured in a fight with two others at the Lone Pine Motel.

While investigating, deputies identified one victim as 27-year old Terrell Andre Deno Marzetta of Sacramento. He had a felony warrant against him with a one-million dollar bail for pimping a minor, false imprisonment and attempting to commit a crime.

As deputies tried to take him into custody, he ran away but was later caught by deputies and CHP officers. Marzetta now faces a new charge for escaping after arrest.
