Man arrested for burglary at Broadway Walgreens in Eureka

EUREKA- An alert security company helps lead Eureka Police to an early morning burglary suspect.

It happened about 4:30 Monday morning at the Walgreens on Broadway. When police arrived, they found a broken window, but no suspect inside.

Security gave them a description of the suspect, 28-year old Andrew Jay Park. Police searched the area and found him sitting in a car in a parking lot. Officers say they found stolen goods outside on the ground and more stolen items on him.

Park was arrested, taken to jail and charged with burglary.
