2,000 Eastern Humboldt residents lose power Thursday morning

HOOPA- Eastern Humboldt residents were in the dark Thursday morning. PG&E tells us 2,000 customers were without electricity due to an outage.

The impacted areas included Hoopa, Orleans, Weitchpec and Somes Bar.

The Klamath Trinity Joint Unified School District also cancelled school for the day.

Power was restored by nine and the cause of the outage is not known.
