Fatal Chainsaw Accident: Man Killed While Clearing Brush Near Trinidad

Trinidad, Ca., (KIEM)- A man loses his life after witnesses say a chainsaw he was operating kicked back at him.

Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a property near Trinidad at about 10:30 a.m. They say a 29-year-old man had been clearing brush in the area. He died from the injuries sustained in the chainsaw accident. Cal/OSHA is investigating. The man’s identity has not been released.
