One of three car prowler suspects arrested in Myrtletown

MYRTLETOWN, CA. – A young Eureka man faces charges of being a car prowler.

About 1:30AM Thursday, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies answered a call of a car prowler in the vicinity of Myrtle Avenue and 17th Street.

When they arrived, they saw three white males, who appeared to be in their 20s, looking into car windows.

When deputies tried to contact them, they fled.

Two of them got away, but deputies caught and arrested 19-year old Thomas William Carlson.

He’s charged with resisting arrest, and carrying a concealed dagger.
