Local healthcare companies merge

EUREKA – Two local healthcare companies are going to merge their services. Adventist Health and Saint Joseph Health announced today that they’ll integrate clinical services and activities. Officials say the new partnership will mean better, more cost effective healthcare for patients across our area. They also say they plan to retain all current employees.

The new agreements extend to clinics and hospitals in Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. Hospital names will remain the same. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
