Local boy “cop for a day”

EUREKA – A local 13 year-old was able to lend a hand to Eureka Police as a cop for the day.

Aidan was helping out Chief Steve Watson in front of Zane Middle School, and was running radar for speeders.  EPD says distracted drivers and speeding is a big issue in Eureka – and that they plan to recruit two full time traffic officer positions as soon as possible. For now, they’re saying thanks to Aidan for helping out.
