Eureka Heritage Society honored by city council

EURKEA., Ca (KIEM)- A part of tonight’s Eureka City Council meeting will highlight an organization dedicated to preserving local historic structures.

Founded in 1973, the Eureka Heritage Society has been a leader in educating and advocating for Eureka’s historic structures, and neighborhoods.

As a group, they have identified and registered well over sixteen hundred historic properties, and tonight, Mayor Jager will honor their achievements.
