Humboldt County Superior Court to celebrate 100th birthday of retired judge

EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – A centennial celebration for a long-time Humboldt County judge.

The Humboldt County Superior Court is putting on a special event for the Honorable Thomas Montgomery, for his one hundredth birthday coming up this month.

Judge Montgomery was born on May 25 of 1918, and served as a judge at the Humboldt Courthouse starting in 1968.

He is also a World War II veteran.

The special celebration will be held May 25 at 3:00PM in Courtroom One of the Humboldt County Courthouse.
