CASA: Become the Voice for a Foster Child

CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, is an organization transforming lives, by teaching local volunteers how to become the voice for a foster child in a six week program.

National CASA helps nearly 700,000 children whom experience abuse or neglect each year. The non-profit program trains and supports volunteers who advocate for a child’s rights in court. The training course teaches advocates how to interact with children in an effective way, as well as how to understand court reports.

If you are interested in learning how to become a CASA, you can stop by or call Eureka’s CASA office. They hold four training programs a year at the start of every season.
