College of the Redwoods: Annual Ceramics Sale

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and College of the Redwoods showcased just that in their annual spring ceramic sale.

The two day sale took place in the Student Services lobby on their main campus to exhibit the work of students and instructors of all skill levels, and the projects they produced over the course of this semester.

Proceeds raised will go towards the clay club, which supports projects in the art department, as well as fees needed for visiting artists and field trips.

Around two hundred students gather per day to view or purchase the pottery. Student artists say the process is rewarding to see that one man’s trash, is another man’s treasure. Art pieces featured sculptures, pottery, jewelry, and more.
