Humboldt Bay Harbor District plans to improve Woodley Island Marina

EUREKA.,Ca (KIEM)-The Humboldt Bay Harbor Recreation and Conservation District will meet Thursday to discuss improvements to the Woodley Island Marina.

The meeting will cover plans to repair the roof over the restaurant and develop a dock repair and replacement program.

Dredging will be a factor in the upcoming improvements to the marina. The district will also work with the City of Eureka to promote it as a place for commercial fishing and recreation.

The meeting is scheduled for noon in the Woodley Island meeting room, and the public is encouraged to attend.
