Trailer Fire Destroys Structure, Leaves 1 Dog Dead

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- A complete loss. That’s how fire crews are describing a mobile home that caught fire in crescent city this morning.

A trailer situated in the trees in Del Norte County went up in flames today.

Cal Fire HUU Engine 1295 responded. Cal Fire is still investigating and details are limited, but we do now the fire was stopped before it could spread to any vegetation nearby.

We’re told a dog did perish in the fire.
