Several Pounds of Marijuana and Meth Found in Crescent City Drug Bust

Crescent City, Ca., (KIEM)- Crescent City Police deployed their K9 Officer Kai on a traffic stop Friday. As a result, they say they found 4.4 pounds of marijuana and approximately 3.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

The stop on US 101 South near Parkway Drive resulted in the arrest of 47-year-old  Aharon Hook. Hook now faces charges for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm, as well as several other weapon and drug related charges. A methamphetamine smoking pipe, shot gun shells and a loaded handgun were also found during the stop.
