Low turnout expected for Humboldt County election

EUREKA- There are some important races in Tuesday’s election. From governor, to county supervisors, measures and props. You name it, but the turnout is expected to be lower than past years.

The Humboldt county elections office told redwood news they sent out 45,000 mail in ballots but only received about 12,000 back. No matter what, workers will be ready to go when polls open bright and early at seven Tuesday morning.
