Two Del Norte County Supervisors respond to recall effort

Last week we reported on recall efforts initiated towards two Del Norte County supervisors.

Former Del Norte County, Cannabis Working Group Chair, Jesse Davis says Roger Gitlin and Bob Berkowitz have been counterproductive by engaging in partisan politics, rather than policy measures.

While Gitlin says he’s created no acts of wrongdoing during his terms of office. Gitlin tells us he believes this is being led by a much larger group of people that have invested interest in removing two seating supervisors. For what he can only term is for frivolous reasons as 90 percent of their votes are unanimous.

Berkowitz also raises concerns for motives of the recall. He says there better be some excuse. He tells us that they haven’t been able to come up with one.
