They come from near and far, from different backgrounds and cultures, but when they’re at the farmers market they come together as one.

The first person I stumbled upon was Tushar Mathew. Four years ago he picked up his belongings to get his masters at the Del Arte International School of Physical Theater and carry on his passion for storytelling in the U.S.

Later I met local mother-son duo, Lauren and Caleb Riley. Caleb’s mom and dad have been working with the farmer’s market association for 13 years. They have a 14 acre farm in Dows Prarie. Caleb’s mom says this is the perfect way to teach his son how to be a business owner, all while working with the community.

You can join in on the farmers market in old town, every Tuesday from 10a.m -1p.m, until October 31st.
