Half Way There: Checking in with the Cyclist Who’s Racing for Reading

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- The trek continues for Michael Davies-Hughes, the Humboldt County Educator who is travelling thousands of miles on his bicycle to raise money and awareness for early literacy. He’s reached the half-way point, and the highest point in elevation on the Race Across America. Despite heat exhaustion, he says he remains inspired.
