Arcata Council and residents tour proposed HSU student housing project

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) The Arcata City Council conducted a special meeting Tuesday evening, as the city must decide on whether or not they will agree to the Village Student Housing Project which was introduced at the City Council meeting on June 6, 2018.

The Council invited city leaders and residents to tour the site where development can potentially take place. After the site visit the meeting reconvened back in the Council Chambers for public hearing and deliberation.

The decision to go fourth with the project has yet to be decided. Another meeting will be held on July 11, 2018 at the Arcata City Hall.
