Marijuana Eradication In Dinsmore

DINSMORE – Several local and state law enforcement agencies search property near Dinsmore for Marijuana. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit served a search warrant. Then searched land on County Line Creek Road today. One parcel was searched and authorities found five grow houses containing more than 1900 marijuana plants. The owner did not have a commercial cannabis grow permit, and had not applied for one. Drug task force members destroyed the marijuana, and also seized two firearms. There were also environmental violations associated with the operation including water diversion, water pollution and several building permit violations. Despite the finds, no arrests were made. But the operation is still under investigation.
