Body of missing man found in McKinleyville

MCKINLEYVILLE, Calif. (KIEM) – A body of a missing man is found in McKinleyville.

44-year-old Demetrious Gabriel Goodwin was reported missing on Sunday, after he didn’t show up to meet family members two days prior.

Humboldt deputies were alerted at about 12:30PM today (Friday), when one of his family members discovered Goodwin’s body in a field among heavy brush.

At this time, deputies say foul play is not suspected.

An autopsy is scheduled for next week.
