New fitness club in McKinleyville

MCKINLEYVILLE – The Northern Humboldt community has a new place to stay active. The club for fitness, is a multi-million dollar facility and opens its doors Saturday in McKinleyville. Operated by the Big Lagoon Rancheria, the two club locations will include over 50,000 square feet of fitness and training. Health classes will also be offered. There’s a pool, and special equipment for children. They say it’s their goal to keep the North Coasts’ youth healthy. The club fitness center opens Saturday morning at 7, and is located on Central Avenue in McKinleyville.
