Humbolt Transit Authority expands bus service

EUREKA – Starting today Humboldt County bus riders have more options for public transportation to and from Southern Humboldt. The expansion includes runs from Eureka to Benbow and more stops along Avenue of the Giants. The new service will provide rides seven days a week from July to October and six days a week during other times of the year. On weekdays there will be six daily northbound trips and five daily southbound trips. For weekends three daily trips up north and two southbound. Weekend service also includes ten stops along the avenue of the giants. Runs from Southern Humboldt’s inter-city line will cost bus riders $6.25. You can pay for your fare in person or using the token transit app.
