Leslie Castellano kicks off campaign for Eureka City Council

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – A new candidate is making her campaign known for Eureka’s Ward 1.

Leslie Castellano took to the front of Eureka City Hall on Tuesday evening, with bystanders in support of her run for Eureka City Council.

Castellano is an artist and founder of Synapsis, a Eureka art studio.

She’s running against another business owner, Anthony Mantova.

Castellano spoke to her campaign platforms centered on economy, educational opportunities, and inclusion for youth in local government.
