Morotcylists uninjured in Eureka solo crash

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – It was a close call for a motorcyclist in Eureka at about 9PM on Tuesday.

CHP, City Ambulance, and Humboldt Bay Fire quickly made their way to the Humboldt Hill Road and Bret Hart Lane intersection, where a motorcyclist took a turn too fast, and crashed.

They tended to him, but he turned down a trip to the hospital.

CHP wants to use this as a reminder to motorcyclists to slow down, and always wear a helmet.
