Missing Oregon man identified as body found at Centerville Beach

EUREKA- A missing Oregon man has been identified as the body found back in February on Centerville Beach.

37-year-old Jeremy Vlahos of Eugene was reported missing to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office.

The wording on the t-shirt Vlahos was wearing allowed the family to identify him. Vlahos’ ID was later confirmed using DNA.

The cause of death was determined as a drowning.
