Defending Champion Eureka football returns experience

EUREKA- Eureka football is the defending Big 5 champion. But if they are to repeat as league champs, it will be in the newly formed Big 4.

The Loggers return mostly everyone from last year’s squad that finished 11-1. The lone loss was in the playoffs. They also have experience on both sides of the line. Quarterback Cruz Montana who threw for 21 touchdowns and ran for four more is back for his senior campaign.

Eureka opens the season August 17 at James Logan.
