A volunteer of the Fortuna Police Department will receive an award next month in Niagra falls, Canada.

Enoch Ibarra has dedicated the past 25 years of his life volunteering at the Fortuna police department. Police Chief, Bill Dobberstein, says he nominated Ibarra to recognize his many talents.

Ibarra will not be able to attend the awards ceremony as he is scheduled to be a presenter of the year at this year’s California Crime Prevention Officers Association Symposium in Sacramento.
