Arcata City Council to hold continuation meeting for Village Student Housing Project

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) Classes for Humboldt State University students have begun but some students are still left wondering about their lack of housing options.

The Arcata City Council and project developer AMCAL have been in communication for several weeks trying to decide whether the Village Student Housing Project proposed for Arcata’s Craftsman’s Mall site will be constructed or not.

Thursday night the Arcata City Council voted unanimously to again continue its discussion on the controversial student housing project.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, August 29^th at 9:00am in the Council Chambers.
