Blue Lake City Council names park after Rodda family

BLUE LAKE – Blue Lake City Council names the park at the corner of and Chartin “Rodda Park.”

The decision was passed unanimously by council, after the Parks and Recreation Commission gave their reasoning for giving the park a name.

They’re calling it Rodda Park, in honor of the Rodda family, who gave Blue Lake the land.

Council also discussed ideas to add memorial plaques, in honor of others who’ve contributed to Blue Lake.
