Cannabis micro-business speak out against strict permit regulation

EUREKA, CA. (KIEM)-Small scale cannabis producers are crying out over current compliance codes saying they’re too strict, when compared to other small business endeavors.

Today at the Adorni Center in Eureka, members of the community expressed their concerns and ideas to the state’s cannabis advisory committee. Some in attendance today complaining that banking and loans are not possible for new cannabis businesses, and say that finding a facility able to accommodate necessary equipment is too expensive for new start-ups. One north coast resident making a living off her small business, says while these permits *are important, they are too much effort.
