Board of Supervisors write letter to Department of Justice regarding Lawson Case

Humboldt County, Ca., (KIEM) The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors will send a letter of priority to the California Department of Justice Bureau of Forensic Science regarding the case of former HSU student Josiah Lawson.

In the letter, Chairman,  Ryan Sundberg asked the D.O.J for their continued support by prioritizing and continuing to assist with the case as additional evidence will require analysis through the Department of Justice’s Forensics Lab.

Sundberg asked that the case is given highest priority as the murder of Josiah Lawson, the HSU student killed at a house party back in April 2017 remains unsolved.

The City of Arcata has previously used the Departments of Justice Forensic Lab in the Lawson case.
