Rio Dell searches for new library locations

Rio Dell’s library may be no more. The location isn’t ADA compliant, and the city is working with the county and fire department to discuss a possible new location.

Some of the solutions include potentially moving the library to a Danco Project building that is proposed in Rio Dell off of Wildwood Avenue. They also are considering installing the modular facility on the grounds of City Hall.

City Manager, Kyle Knopp, tells us the timing is urgent, and a meeting will be held on October 2nd to discuss potential options. Knopp says they are hoping to keep the library within the city.
