Truck destroyed in fire

EUREKA, Calif (KIEM)-A truck in a vacant Eureka parking lot is destroyed by fire.

Humboldt Bay Fire responded just after 3:30 Thursday afternoon to the intersection of Broadway and McCullens Avenue.

When they arrived on scene, flames and black smoke were seen pouring out of the red Chevy pickup.

Fire fighters quickly put the fire out.

The cause is under investigation.
