Old Englund Marine building may become visitor’s center

CRESCENT CITY – An old building in Crescent City may become a vistor’s center for tourists.

Harbor Commissioners with Crescent City disscued at the Del Norte Habor district meeting what to do with the Old Englund Marine building Tuesday night.

They ultimately decided that they need to do more research before turning the vacant building into a visitor’s center for tourists.

The goal is to bring more visitors into the harbor, with a centralized location.

That way they can easily access tourist information for Crescent City and the Del Norte County area.
