Outbuilding burns during vegetation fire in Del Norte County

FORT DICK, CA., (KIEM)-A vegetation fire around 2:00 p.m. Saturday scorches an outbuilding on Earl Drive in Del Norte County.

The Fort Dick Fire Department responded, along with one Cal Fire engine and an engine from pelican bay state prison. the fire was fast and active, spreading into a greenhouse, but luckily first responders where able to quickly get a handle on the flames. The cause of that fire is under investigation.
