“Indivisible Fortuna” advocates for a sanctuary county

FORTUNA, CA. (KIEM)-Fortuna becomes a political battleground Saturday morning as advocates fight to make sure no one lives  in constant fear of deportation,

The group known as “Indivisible Fortuna” is advocating for a measure k, yes vote. Which would prohibit local law enforcement agencies from cooperating with federal immigration officials. One representative of the group claims, if SB 54 is overturned by the state, there would still be Measure K to protect the immigrant population from deportation. A former elementary school teacher says it’s our responsibility to keep families together.
